
MA Educational Management &Leadership
Ideal for educational professionals who are aiming to pursue, or already have some experience in a leadership role.

The range of modules gives students the opportunity to examine contemporary leadership and management theory, policies and its application in current education settings.
The capstone project enables students to further their knowledge by independently examining the theory and methods that can be used to solve real-word challenges in various scenarios.
Students are encouraged to contribute to existing methodologies and practices with their own research.
Overall, the coursework is structured to develop students’ ability to think critically and innovatively, to engage with the challenges facing educators and policy makers, and finally, to provide the professional knowledge and skills required to lead in globalized world.
Course fees
Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years old at the start of the course and have an English level equivalent to CEFR B2, Pearson Academic 51 or IELTS 5.5. If you are unsure of your current level, please contact for further options.
Applicants must also have an honours degree in a related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
FULL TIME - 6 modules, each carries 20 UK credits. Overall 120 UK credits will be achieved in phase 1 that takes 6 months/2 quarters to complete
PHASE TWO - Capstone project takes approximately 6 months to complete and carries 60 credits
For Phase One, a variety of assignments and tasks will be used to support learning and assess the knowledge, such as presentations, essays, reports and case studies. Guidance will be provided for the completion of written work. Most of the assessments will be of a written nature, involving independent reading and research.
Students are graded on their submitted assignments.
For the capstone project, students are required to choose a specific theme; an area of their interest within an educational context.
This research is intended to enable students to significantly contribute to their professional growth by increasing their capacity for thinking independently, innovatively and critically.
Their work is also expected to contribute to advancement of the educational field and can be used later as a basis for doctoral thesis. The document should be supported by theory, evidence, and valuable references.
Students will have consultation sessions arranged with the tutor who will be providing the guidance. The final project should contain 12,000 words. The time expected to complete this stage is 2 quarters, however, flexible options are available.
Students will achieve a Level 7 Diploma in Education Management and Leadership from OTHM earning a total of 120 credits and continuing onto a top-up, Capstone project stage; earning the additional 60 UK credits.

Course Materials
Students will study this program through our Hybrid Learning model.
This virtual study mode allows flexibility and expert-led teaching to be accessed from your own home. Each quarter contains eight one-to-one or small group sessions with your tutor during which you will delve into and discuss your topics. Sessions are recorded and are available to be rewatched at any time.
You will also have access to course materials and resources relevant to your program of study, such as textbooks, presentations, case studies and guides.
If required, you can request extra private tuition sessions, starting at £400 for 10 hours.
