our BA (Hons) in Education & Training  provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals and policy makers in their own country.

It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective practitioner in the education sector.

It combines both theoretical and practical knowledge in the education profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of curriculum planning, effective performance, action research and development. Learners will be able to work in a variety of roles within education and/or management.

Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the course, possess an honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification

Mature learners are qualified as those over the age 21 with relevant experience

Learners are expected to be able to demonstrate English language comprehension at a level equivalent to:

• Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2

• Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 51

• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 5.5; Reading and Writing must be at 5.5

FULL TIME - 2 OTHM units & 4 Eton University subjects per quarter, each quarter is 120 UK credits / 20 US credits

PART TIME - 1 OTHM unit & 2 Eton University subjects per quarter, each quarter is 60 UK credits / 10 US credits

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by Eton University and externally verified by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.

 

To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. Judgment that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by the Assessor.

 

The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgment of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at.

After year one students will achieve a Level 4 Diploma in Education & Training awarded by OTHM.

After year two students will achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training awarded by OTHM.

After year three students will achieve a level 6 Diploma in Education & Training awarded by OTHM and a BA (Hons) in Education & Training awarded by Eton University

Students will study this program through our Hybrid Learning model.

This virtual study mode allows flexibility and expert-led teaching to be accessed from your own home. Each quarter contains eight one-to-one or small group sessions with your tutor during which you will delve into and discuss your topics. Sessions are recorded and are available to be rewatched at any time. 

You will also have access to course materials and resources relevant to your program of study, such as textbooks, presentations, case studies and guides. 

If required, you can request extra private tuition sessions, starting at £400 for 10 hours.
