The PhD in Strategic Management and Leadership reflects current practice in industry managerial fields and allows learners to develop and expand their high-level understanding of strategic management and leadership in the workplace.
This degree is suitable for mature learners with a background in academic study or industry. It will enable learners to become independent, self-directed learners with tools and the motivation to continue learning, developing and reflecting throughout their careers.
Course fees
Applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a business-related subject, have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience and must hold or have previously held a position at senior management level which is capable of supporting the achievement of the programme learning outcomes, including the professional research project.

If English is not their first language, applicants must have a minimum English score of TOEFL 101 or IELTS 6.5. Evidence that the applicant’s master’s degree was taught mainly or entirely in English is also accepted.
The program is spread across four quarters:
Coursework has a clear work-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside theoretical fundamentals.
Students will achieve a Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from OTHM and a full Doctorate (PhD) in Strategic Management & Leadership.

Tuition &
Course Materials
Students will study this program through our Hybrid Learning model.

This virtual study mode allows flexibility and expert-led teaching to be accessed from your own home. Each quarter contains eight one-to-one or small group sessions with your tutor during which you will delve into and discuss your topics. Sessions are recorded and are available to be rewatched at any time.
You will also have access to course materials and resources relevant to your program of study, such as textbooks, presentations, case studies and guides.
If required, you can request extra private tuition sessions, starting at £400 for 10 hours.
