ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management

The ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management was developed with support and feedback from UK universities. It is a 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the second year of a bachelor’s degree.

This qualification has been designed for learners who are seeking to progress to take the final year of a bachelor’s degree course in an area of management and aims to develop learners understanding of management and to develop key management skills.

  • Extended Diploma is 1,200 learning hours, usually studied over an academic year

Entry Criteria

These qualifications provide a flexible route for learners who have already achieved management qualifications at a lower level, as well as for learners who do not have business or management qualifications, but may have qualifications in other areas and/or prior management experience in the work place.


Age: 19 +


Entry profile:


  • prior study in business, management or related subjects at level 4 or above a level 4 qualification for example an ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management or an ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management

  • other equivalent international qualifications
