For us it means doing research that addresses global human concerns and social problems, attracting dedicated staff and top students from around the world through distance education, and having our own campuses in several countries.
We're planning to contribute to the development of the higher education capacity within the developing world through a variety of projects including scholarships, flexible programme delivery, research partnerships and expert volunteering.
